Python rescued from locality in Dhupguri
On Friday, a giant python got caught in the net of a farmer’s flower garden in Uttar Kathulia village of Dhupguri block.
As soon as the locals know about the matter, they informed the forest department. But when the forest department did not respond, an environmentalist organization in Dhupguri was finally informed and they came and rescued the Python from the danger .
However, the locals have expressed their displeasure over the role of the forest department as the forest department did not show any interest in rescuing the snake.
On the other hand, environmentalists said that the resqued Python will be handed over to the forest department.
